Special thanks go to all the apprentices who took part in
the competition this year, the standard shown by all the apprentices was of
a very high quality.

RIFAA Ltd provide high quality First Aid at Work, Appointed Persons, Fire, Manual Handling or tailor-made Health and Safety courses for the workplace at the lowest practicable cost. Courses operated throughout the country to accommodate your business needs.
The course has been developed by collaboration with St John Ambulance to
meet the occupational requirements.
Re-qualification is by attendance on a two day re-qualification course taken before the expiry of the three year competency period.
This is a four hour module covering all aspects of the Appointed Person role
which includes emergency first aid for electrical accidents, specifically
designed for industry.
Over 1.2 million people are affected each year by back problems and minor muscular-skeletal aches and pains. The RIFAA Manual Handling course covers assessing the risks, the principals of safe handling and practice in safe lifting.
The Rifaa AED Course provides qualified First Aiders with the underpinning skills and knowledge to enable them to resuscitate a casualty who has suffered a heart attack
To enable participants to identify the dangers and causes of fire in the rail environment and understand fire prevention, know what actionís are to be taken in the event of fire.
